With 19 years of teaching experience, John harbors a deep passion for helping others enjoy the beauty of landscape photography. Here is a sampling of the available workshops:

June 11 - 13 - Olympic National Park - We'll explore the highlights of the park and the Olympic Peninsula in general. Highlights will be the Hoh rainforest, the Sol Duc river valley, and the Washington coast.


July 15 - 18 - Mt. Rainier - Discover one of America's finest National parks. Rugged, beautiful and full of diversity , Mt. Rainier offer countless photo opportunities. Highlights include: Reflection Lake, Tipsoo Lakes, Paradise and Sunrise.


August 26 - 29 - Mt. Adams - The Gifford Pinchot National Forest and Mt. Adams are are undiscovered jewels in Washington state. Highlights include: Tahklahk Lake, Panther Creek Falls and Big Spring Creek.


September 10 - 12 - Ghost Towns of the Okanogan - Explore the old west in Washington State. The Okanogan had it's boom in the late 19th century and we will be in the heart of it. Highlights include: Molson, Chesaw, Farmer and Gold Hill.

All trips will have a maximum of 10 participants. There will be two instructors for every workshop. Prices wil included all airport transfers and transportation within the time frame of the workshop, all breakfasts, snacks, critique sessions and a questions and answer period and hotel stay (based on double occupancy). Participants must provide their own transportation to the destination cities (Seattle or Spokane).
