Landscape photographer John Shephard has spent over 25 years capturing panoramic photographs that make you want to step inside them. Featured in Terry Hope's The World's Top Photographers: Landscape in 2003, Shephard continues to refine a vision rooted in joy and immersion. Every photograph is made on Fujichrome Velvia 50 film, drum scanned on a Heidelberg Tango, and printed as a limited edition archival work — the best materials and craftspeople we know of, at every step of the process.
About the Prints
Fine-art prints are available in limited editions of 25, printed on Hahnemühle Baryta Rag. Each print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity documenting the image, paper, edition number, and origin of the scan. Framing in archival materials with museum glass is available, or prints can be purchased unframed.
Washington Wide Book
Washington Wide is the first comprehensive panoramic portrait of Washington State — from coastline to canyon, rainforest to rolling wheat field. Made entirely on film with panoramic cameras over more than two decades, it captures the full breadth of the state's landscapes in a single, cohesive body of work.
