We had just arrived in Australia and we were getting settled in. My daughter was three at the time and suffering from growing pains. She awoke at 3:00am and I stayed up with her until she fell asleep. Around 4:00am, she was in a sound slumber and I was wide awake. I decided to head down to the beach and see what the sunrise would bring.
