Awakening
I’ve spent years chasing the sunrise, capturing over 200 each year during my time in Australia, but this moment stands out as the most majestic I’ve ever witnessed. Watching the hues—fiery reds, purples, and golds—paint the sandstone cliffs was like seeing the dawn come alive. The light danced across the rugged edges, caressing the rocks and creating a symphony of color that I’ll never forget.
What struck me most was the harmony of it all—the waves softly caressing the shoreline, the cliffs glowing with the first light, and the endless sky opening up to a new day. It was one of those rare moments where everything aligns perfectly, reminding me why I keep coming back to the camera, morning after morning.
This piece, Awakening, is not just a photograph to me—it’s a celebration of dedication and the beauty of persistence. It’s a glimpse into the countless mornings spent chasing light, and the reward of witnessing something truly extraordinary.
