Wamberal Beach
The morning started quietly at Wamberal Beach, with soft, flat light that didn’t hint at much happening. I almost thought this sunrise might pass without any real color, but then, right at the end, the sky lit up with vibrant pinks. It was sudden and dramatic, transforming the entire scene in an instant.
I framed the shot to bring the ocean right into the foreground, letting the waves draw the viewer into the image. The soft, rolling water and the burst of color in the sky created a striking contrast that I wanted to capture simply and honestly.
