Path of Light

Path of Light

The rain was relentless in Terrigal that morning, pounding down with an intensity that seemed to wash the world clean. But through the storm, I caught a glimpse—a break in the clouds along the path of the rising sun. Something told me that nature was about to put on a spectacular show. Sprinting down to the water’s edge, I waited, soaked but hopeful, for the perfect moment.

When the rainbow finally emerged, it was nothing short of magical. Its vibrant arc rose out of the horizon, meeting the turquoise waves and golden sand in a harmony of color and light. I chose a vertical composition for this shot because I wanted the waves to fill the lower frame, inviting the viewer to step into the scene, to feel the cool water lapping at their feet as the storm gave way to tranquility.

Path of Light is about the fleeting moments when nature aligns perfectly, reminding us of the beauty waiting just beyond the rain. This image invites you to walk into the frame, to feel the energy of the sea, and to chase your own moments of awe.

Color Match

The images on this site are carefully color-managed, but no screen can fully replicate what these photographs look like as finished prints. The depth, color, and detail of a limited edition print on Hahnemühle Baryta Rag goes well beyond what any display can show.
