This image takes me back to a special place—my friend Sally’s lavender farm nestled on Pokolbin Mountain. It’s a hidden gem, far removed from the city’s hustle, offering expansive views that stretch endlessly across the rolling hills and valleys below. The tranquility here is unmatched, with the scent of lavender carried gently on the breeze and the golden light of the setting sun bathing the landscape in warmth.

I wanted to capture the charm of this farm—the rustic stonework, the tidy rows of lavender, and the welcoming glow of the farmhouse. The scene felt timeless, a perfect blend of nature and home, where the wild meets the cultivated. This image isn’t just about the beauty of the place but the peace it brings, the sense of escape it offers.
